Video Marketing gets you free leads, traffic and sales. It also allows for personal branding because people get to see you, your personality and they can connect with you. Video’s take 5-10 minutes to record and they are available 24/7 to the public. This is HUGE! This is easy to do when you know the right strategy! A good rule of thumb is to make 2-3 videos per week for your first year. There are tools I’ll mention later that allow you to put your videos on 100 different sites. So imagine 150 videos your first year on 100 different sites= 15,000 workers out there working for you when you only had to do it once!

There is a variety of videos that you can make talking about how to use jingproject.com or tips you’ve picked up that will help others as well as marketing tips. Basically anything you learn, shoot a video on it and share it with your community of fellow marketers! Give VALUE!

WARNING: If you are constantly trying to sell whatever, YouTube will disable your channel, so be aware of this. You need to come across as someone providing value to others in this industry. Abide by the rules and be incompliance at all times so your channel stays live.

If you are new to the industry, one thing you need to learn quickly is that you need to start doing rather than procrastinating. Don’t worry if you aren’t 100% perfect, just do it. Practice makes perfect!  So many times people are hesitant to start shooting video because they aren’t confident or they don’t know what they are doing, but realize that everyone has been at this point. There are two types of people in this world, doers and procrastinators, which section are you going to fall in?

Tips to a Great Video:

• Keep the video short and to the point
• Make a list of key points to go over and to keep yourself on point, don’t go on and on but don’t read off word for word
• Do a practice video (as many times as need be) and take the best video and post that.
• The opening to your video is very important, so make sure you get to the point quick with attention grabbing material. The first 20 seconds is critical!
• The background in your video is also important. Make sure you look professional. You can stand in front of a white wall or if you are in your room, make sure your room is clean and presentable.
• Make sure you look happy and you have a smile on your face!! Don’t be too serious! What you are projecting is what the viewers will feel through your video, so be aware of your mood and/or attitude and how you present yourself. Would you want to watch you?
• The ending is also very important. One major mistake marketers do is not put a call to action at the end of their videos. Make sure you are telling people to check out your website if they want to grow their business.

Action Steps:

• Sign up with Traffic Geyser (www.traffic geyser.com) and go through basic training
• Get a YouTube Channel
• Start making your videos. Practice makes perfect so the time to start is now!
• Watch other videos and note what you like in others and what they do that you can implement to your videos. Comment on other peoples videos and give feedback.

When on Facebook, look at the bottom of the page and click on Advertising

• The URL you use should not be your landing page on your advertisement. You don’t need to sell right away. For example, you make a promise in your advertisement to provide more content. You would then provide a URL to a website you have created with a video about 5 keys to success or a link to your blog with helpful training tips. This shows that you fulfill your promise and people will appreciate the content you provide,
• Come up with a title in the form of a question that describes the interests of the people out there looking for the answer. For example, ask something like: Not looking forward to Monday? Hate the corporate politics of your job? Make sure your content addresses the question though!
• Tell what you are providing like 5 key elements of a successful home based business. Make sure you put up an image as well.
• Under the location, make sure you targeting countries that speak the same language that the content is written in. The more the better because the estimate at the bottom needs to be at least 50,000 or more.
• What is your target age range? Common sense tells us that people that are 18-22 may not have enough work experience to be sick and tired of the politics of Corporate America.  Usually a good age range is 25-any.
• Keywords-make sure you are targeting arenas that your audience is in because if you are off the mark, Facebook will get complaints and close down your ad. So if you are marketing a home based business, look for other people in those categories. (i.e. internet marketing, make money from home..etc)
• Don’t worry about putting anything down for relationship status or groups
• Set up an account with adwords and use the google keywords tool to get ideas of what keywords to use when creating your ad.

Writing a great Ad:

• Your headlines should be in the form of a question
• Make a specific promise in your ad and be sure to fulfill that promise
• Use both upper and lower cases in your headline as well
• Make sure your spelling is correct, double check this twice!
• Don’t use slang terms, this is a social networking site started by a University so treat it as such
• Make sure your material and image is relevant
• Don’t use abbreviations or symbols, correct grammar is HUGE!

The Sandwich Method

• This is a great method that truly works!
• Once you have created your ad, the URL associated with your ad should be the sandwich link which is the website with more content such as a video with 5 key elements to success or something along those lines.
• Then from there you can your landing page as step 3 of this whole process. That way the individual has gained knowledge from your original ad so they realize you have something to offer. Or you can set up weekly training calls that users can attend. Basically provide anything of value that will help them with their business before you send them to your landing page.
• They are more likely to give you positive rates to your ad as well!

Today’s topic is going to cover Facebook and how to generate traffic to your page so you can generate free leads as well as learn how to advertise on Facebook. I will show you the basic’s of how to write your ad’s, how to properly bid on the amount you pay per click and some guidelines along the way!

Please remember that Facebook is different from Google and Bing, as it is a social networking tool. The best way someone described the difference is that you need to treat Facebook like a party. You don’t simply walk up to people and start a sales pitch about your business. They wouldn’t be interested in speaking with you after 2 minutes! So you need to learn to have viable and valuable content on your page with URL links to your blog, YouTube channel and twitter account instead of always sending people to your landing page.  Not to mention you can get leads for $0.30-0.60 cents instead of some of the more expensive things out there. So start off with a budget in mind of what you want to spend per day. We’ll come to this part a bit later.

When it comes to advertising, there are some rules Facebook implements, so pay attention!

• Your click through rate (CTR) needs to be at 2% or higher on this site, so watch this when you are getting started or your ad will be disabled before you know it!
• Don’t use offensive material when posting to Facebook, treat this site and your advertisements in the same manner as conversations you have with your mom. This rule of thumb should prevent you from putting anything shocking in your ad.  Your objective is to ENGAGE your readers, yet be conservative! Your trying to push your content here!
• Put an image up that represents what you are discussing and put words on your image. Research has shown that ad’s with images get more clicks than ad’s without images

Give VALUE and Make a PROMISE

• Facebook is about relationship building, as I’ve mentioned before, so understand that you are not trying to sell right off the bat. You are working on establishing a relationship first.
• Your landing page must have value on it, such as a video or other type of information.
• Users vote on your ad’s and if it isn’t relevant or they feel you are trying to sell them too quickly, you will get negative feedback and your ad will be shut down!

Build Friends:

• Go to fan pages of books you like or find top home business marketers on Facebook because their fan page consists of open minded people searching for this information.
• Friend request 20-30 people per day
• When friend requesting them, ad a personal touch and send a message with their name and let them know you are also a fan of xyz book and that you would like to connect with them.
• Be authentic and real!

Bidding

• I usually recommend $50-100/day budget depending on the level of marketer you are. If you don’t have that much to work with, start with $10-15/day. Do what is in your budge at first to get yourself started.
• When you start bidding on the cost per click, look at the top rate and divide that by 2 to get the rate you should bid. For example 0.80 cents would be 0.40 cents to bid for your first few days. From there you will bid at the max rate thereafter. This will determine your ROI.

I am from Tacoma, WA, however I moved around quite a bit growing up. I’ve lived in Los Angeles, Florida and South Carolina just to end up back in Sunny Southern California! I come from a very humble family, as my parents didn’t have that much money growing up. At age 13 I got my first part time job working at a local family owned restaurant. I was determined to have money even if my parents didn’t and it felt good to be able to give my mom money here and there. My mom knew I was determined to work and be productive so she talked to the owner  and the next thing you know I’m working and she is driving me to and from work in the evenings after school.

I found out that I had enough credits to graduate high school a year early if I took one extra course during summer, so I did and was thrilled to be out of high school. I immediately went to college thinking that was the way to making money, but soon realized that I had to take out a ton of student loans to get the degree I wanted, and soon realized the $500 monthly payment was a bit much for me to handle out of college. So I found a full time job while going to school at night to achieve my bachelor’s degree. But it wasn’t enough for me. I was getting into debt and not making enough money to dig my way out. I was determined to find a better way to live and succeed in life without all the stress of working a ton of hours and noticing that I was making a fraction of the profits I was making my company. Too add to my stress, at 21 I was diagnosed with MS. The ups and downs did not adhere to my schedule, so I was determined to find a job that allowed for down time because it ran sufficiently on it’s own. I was also getting sick of the politics of my job and looked into graduate school so I could find a job that dealt more with helping people and one that pays more. After started yet another stock pile of debt going to grad school I figured out that the amount I would be paying for school would not give me a significant raise in my next position. Frustrated and annoyed I was looking for something that made sense to me.

I started reading every book I could get my hands on to better myself and figure out a way to start my own business and have financial freedom. I am the type of person that always goes with my gut feelings in life, because if something doesn’t feel right I don’t feel comfortable doing it, however when I feel at ease I know it’s the right thing to do. I came across  network marketing and started reading more into it. The people involved all said the same thing, they were sick and tired of the politics of Corporate America. I was making decent money but not the amount that I thought I was worth and I certainly worked more than I liked.

Now I’m into network marketing and utilizing the tools the internet can offer to expand a home based business and work for you even when your sleeping. For example, a store front in downtown requires that you pay an employee, rent, workers comp, insurance ..etc…and you only have a limited number of clients you can serve in that area. In online marketing you can reach people in the comfort of their own homes in 160 different countries when they have time. That made all the sense in the world to me! You have to work hard and learn the ropes, but I’m already used to doing that and making someone else rich. For once I want to make myself rich without the hassle of 9-5 and the corporate politics that I didn’t agree with but had to go along with to pay my bills.

Now I work from the comfort of my home when I want, I’m my own boss and I call the shots, and yes, I’m finally living the life of my dreams!

I hope to share my knowledge with you so you can also achieve financial freedom and have more time to do the things you love in life, whether it be travel the world or spend more time with your family or volunteer for your favorite charity event. Having options and free time to do the things you love and not have to worry about the ‘down time’ is incredible for me. My goal is to share my knowledge with you so you can also achieve your goals in life.

Hi Everyone, I’m here to chat about building relationships in order to expand your business and get your name out there. There are a few different strategies you need to use in order to be successful at online marketing.

First and foremost, you need to lead with value and education/knowledge! You need to have the best interest of others at heart and offer people something they need. Don’t be afraid to tell people your secrets because they will appreciate you sharing them and it will show that you are open and honest and that your stuff really works!

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Blogging are great tools to utilize to get your name out there so people can get to know who you are.

3 things to note:

#2 Add Profitable Friends (facebook/twitter)

#3 Build relationships and be authentic with people (facebook/twitter/youtube)

#1 Setting up your profile

It is best to go with your first and last name if you are just getting started. Brand your name so you can show people who you are in a variety of accounts. (i.e. facebook, your blog) Make it easy for people to find you

In your bio, talk about your hobbies and interests and don’t be afraid to have fun with this!! Be yourself, tell your unique story and people will appreciate this.

#2 Background

Setting up your background-You can go to twitterimage.com to get a free background or twitart.com or twitterbackgrounds.com for a custom background that you can pay for. This is yet another way to express yourself to your viewers.

Put up a smiling picture of yourself! You want to work with someone who takes time to personalize their site.

People want to see who you are and who they are working with. Plus you are putting yourself out there with a picture of yourself vs. a graphic photo. And perhaps have something you like to do in the background, like out on the golf course or at the beach.  This is social media so it is about you and how people can get to know you! I highly recommend this step!

#3 Tweeting

This is a Social media website, not a ‘let me sell you something’ website. Tweet social things to personalize your page as well as quotes you like and links to articles you write or blogs you post or videos you shoot.  Remember, give VALUE!! Quote your favorite leaders. Post about 10-15 tweets per day when using the 3:1 content/things of value vs. ad for your business.

(Social Omph is a great tool to help you post your tweets so you don’t have to be in the internet all day. )

You can generate sales by starting up conversations with people! For example, when people re-tweet you, look at their bio and ask them questions about what they do. When they respond to you they will ask questions about you and that starts the relationship building! This will take sometime, but it’s a better way to approach tweeting and networking on twitter.

#4 Followers

How to add followers, delete followers and build your list. This takes about 20 minutes a day and 3 months to build a healthy network of people.

Find people in your line of business to follow and friend request their friends because odds are, they are interested in the information you have to offer. Look for them to follow you back as well. For example, look for MLM people or network marketing people and look at their bio to see if they have the similar interests. Sometimes they don’t have the education necessary to build their business. That is where you come in! Or target business owners, people in real estate or any other industry that need help marketing their business online.

When you first set up your account, you will try to follow 150-200 people per day. If you add 300+ followers per day then Twitter can possibly flag your account and you will get suspended.

Delete people that don’t have something to contribute or if they are not following you back.  Look for people that bring value to your team.

#5 Rules and Etiquette

This is social media, so focus on building and developing relationships, not selling. The best way to do this is to put out content on your page (i.e. quotes, articles, blog etc..)  This is your personal site, use it to entertain your readers.

Your content needs to generate interest. When people re-tweet your quotes, thank them. Start a conversation and show genuine interest in what they do. Develop a relationship with that person. The more quality content you put out, the more people will notice you. Give value and use 3:1 when your posting content vs. ads about your business. Focus on building relationships, not selling!
